Conceptual idea of the project

The conflict between both sides of the Spree River is a metaphor for the battle that is going on in Kreuzberg between those who want to develop the area and those who want to leave it untouched so that its social and cultural abundance does not disappear. The proposal are a series of programatic platforms that join both sides of the river. The shape of the so-called "bridge" is flexible and dynamic due to the fact that some of the pieces are mobile. The program includes spaces for diverse types of activities as to form social interaction between all Berliners.
